Another spectacular moment from this morning.

Imagine that these are natural things that happen every day. The sun ascends, and the tides rise and fall. And for a few moments in the vast expanse of time, we get to stand there and be at once thoroughly part of it, and in awe of it, knowing that it will never look the same again.

20 years ago, I started collecting these cute, feisty little creatures, the Naughty Naughty Pets. They came from a series of children’s books by Wendy Ann Gardner, but to me in 2004/5, they were simply funny characters who popped up from time to time, and had to come home with me when they did.

A fresh profile feels like an opportunity. I’m a fan of the blank page, the empty space, the new place. What to do with them? They all hold such promise. And no matter how things develop on here over time, what happens now and next is unwritten and open, and I like the idea of that.

Let’s see how this goes then…
