Definitely versus defiantly is one my fingers always trip over. And independently.

I have been stuck on this stupid plotline for weeks! months! and I finally sat down to outline it and knocked that out in the span of a few hours. both glad I finally finished it and furious it took so long. but now I know what to write and how to write it so hopefully it will be a smoother process.

I keep a document with fic ideas and sometimes I'll write in it directly. Then once it's clearly becoming a fic rather than just idea, I'll start a new doc for it. And I love that feeling. Especially when I can clearly see that there's a solid 2k words for it.
