Except Labour did move to the right, Wes - on immigration, banning protest, âisland of strangersâ, attacking nature protections, etc - chasing a tiny number of Reform switchers whilst ignoring its core vote, and never talking about its more left wing economic policies

Heaven forbid that Labour should seek to copy any of the policies of the Greens after they just overturned a 13,000-vote majority in one of Labourâs safest seats. Letâs just call those voters âsectarianâ and âextremistâ instead. Thatâll work
