My intro and intermediate embroidery students came into class with their heads hanging low, feeling out of sorts yesterday. I was right there with them. I put on cheery music and we got to stitching, by the end of class we left smiling. I really think art is healing, and my students are killing it.

For years, joanns was my “little treat”. I’d go after work and impulse buy yarn and fabric. It’s been pretty terrible these last few years, especially ordering online. While I don’t shop there anymore, I’d be sad to see it go.

A rescue from the four corners area, team USA canicross dog, winner of every fast cat competition she’s entered, and the grumbliest gremlin there is. Loves chicken and a warm blanket. And yes, has seen all the twilight films.
