Great article by DW on safety and privacy of VPNs. Most VPNs, especially free ones, do not offer any security or privacy. The ones without serious concerns are: ProtonVPN, Mullvad, Lantern, and Psiphon. The best solution though is to use the Tor browser 👍

Very glad to see so many people show up at Christie Pits for the counter-protest. The "Canada First" anti-immigrant rally had only about 30 people, counter-protest was in multiple hundreds. Proud to see the community organizing and saying no to hate.

One thing that kinda blows my mind: I spoke to national French-language media all morning about this. I did three separate interviews before 10am. I was interviewed for the U.S. publication WIRED about it. But English-language Canadian media? Crickets. It’s just so odd!
