Some of the investments we've made in #Aspire 9.4 and 9.5 have been engineering velocity focused and are rapidly allowing us to dogfood changes to the Aspire CLI, integrations, and other upcoming features. That combined with Copilot is turning to be a potent combination.

I wish someone who understood ROS2 would have a stab at integrating it with Aspire.

Been having some fun today setting up sshd inside a docker container and forwarding incoming connections to a TCP server (in #dotnet) and hooking that up to Spectre Console. The challenge of course is that you loose all of the information that SSH sends to the host on window resizes etc.

Updating is as simple as updating the SDK & package versions in your AppHost project file. Soon, it'll be as simple as running `aspire update` 😉

This was a great talk by @scott.hanselman.com. Really hit me in the "feels". My origin story has similar timing and notes, and I feel incredibly lucky that my parents allowed me to tinker with technology. It isn't a gift that I (or anyone) should receive lightly.

I find it amusing that the coordination between two processes on the same box is often more challenging that making a call across the Internet.

A dev-focused streaming platform would feature the ability to have multiple concurrent streams coming from the one streamer showing different windows.

I took the Echo MCP sample for .NET over the weekend and plugged it into a projectless C# file a .NET file 10 devcontainer. Once I had that in place I was able to tell Copilot to write more MCP servers using the same approach and dynamically add them to the mcp.json file. It was actually cool.

My kids are so lucky that they'll never have to provide me with tech support.
