November reading stats! I also just finished a book this afternoon but obviously that didn’t quite make the cut for November.

Usagi Yojimbo is SO good! Just finished Book 4 in the ‘Saga’ and it was definitely the best yet. I love tales of samurai and traditional Japanese mythology / folklore, so combining that with this lovable rabbit ronin is just the perfect read for me. Emotional ending too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m about a year late but I’ve finally finished watching Frieren season one. This is the first anime where I’ve actually read all the manga it’s based on first. I love it.

October reading stats! I finished Assassin’s Fate / the Realm of the Elderlings at the beginning of the month and basically nothing has matched up. Not sure it ever will.

Felt sad about missing the @highrollersdnd.bsky.social live show today in Bristol. Decided to start re-listening through Aerois. 😅

Highly recommend playing DND on a Monday night. Makes for a very fun start to the week and helps to mute the general stress of a Monday work day.

My Realm Of The Elderlings re-read is complete and I'm pondering how long I should leave it until I start all over again. No one does characters like Robin Hobb does and no other books make me feel all the emotions that these do, especially the ones with Fitz and the Fool. I love them so much…

September reading stats. 📚 I think this is the lowest count for non-‘picture’ books I’ve read in a month, with only two here. But what excellent two books they are! I was really trying to finish book three as well but it’s a long trilogy (Fitz and the Fool by Robin Hobb).

Baking cookies for the first session of my new DND campaign starting tomorrow night. I’m not usually a baker*. Clearly I want to make a good impression. 😅🍪 *I have taste tested the first batch and they are all good. 😮‍💨

Just came home to someone parked in the middle of our car park, blocking about three spaces. All of those spaces were empty. The lay by around the corner was empty (where I had to park). I’d rather they just parked in someone else’s space than block multiple people! Argh!

Waaaa! Just went to start reading Delicious In Dungeon book 8 only to open it up and find that it’s book 1 with the cover of book 8 attached. 😭 Not helpful! Although it does sum up my life at the moment quite well. 🫠
