LRP: Technically, Studio Sunshower is a cooperative. But without the resources to compensate even one full-time employee right now, it’s almost entirely symbolic until the game comes out and that changes. And even then, you’re working against the system just by running a cooperative in the US.

Discord Nitro canceled. Now to think about the cost of servers and hosting in the pursuit of a forums equivalent. I’m doing this if no one stops me.

By the way, I’m seeing mutuals being smarmy about people who already had Discord Nitro. The increased upload limit cap was extremely helpful as a developer, especially when working in 3D. For me it was not at all about animated emotes, but less friction when it came to using the platform for work.

Well if Discord goes through with this age verification nonsense, I’m going to make a goddamn forum like it’s 1999 and hit da bricks.

RE: PS2 controller For decades I used the DualShock 2 exclusively to play fighting games. It’s that d-pad. Only the DS3 has come closest, but beyond that there’s no comparison. Only on a DS2 can I so effortlessly execute shoryu inputs by merely rocking my thumb back and forth ever so slightly.

This old Model H soldier has fight left in him yet! Resoldered vibration functionality, broken ribbon cable, and cleaned internals. I’d planned to swap out the sticks for some nice red aluminums, but I’m sad to say that while they fit, PS4 sticks are too small around the base to freely rotate.
