Just built an iOS Shortcut that auto updates the Bluesky avatar and banner with zero UI, fully silent, and totally customisable. It uses Scriptable and took a bit of swearing to get right but it’s now rock solid. Designers, devs, branding folks, you’ll love it. Happy to share if anyone’s interested!

Eusexua by FKA Twigs is seeing me through this dreich Saturday afternoon. It bares more than a passing resemblance to Madonna’s Ray of Light and that’s no bad thing. Had a walk up to the Glasgow Necropolis today for the first time since I moved back to the city. Something about exploring it in subzero temperatures made the place feel extra atmospheric. 👌

Just been to see Nosferatu. Intense, a bit gay, quite camp (that walk), very gory (poor pigeon). Overall; a decent watch.

The freezing fog over Hampden in Glasgow tonight is a glorious hue.

Top of my wish list for Bluesky is the ability to search for posts based on location. I know a lot of people wouldn’t use this feature but I’d love to be able to drop into locations of interest to see what’s happening in those areas, especially at important moments in time. @bsky.app, any chance?

I’m sad I missed this by the Glasgow City Heritage Trust even if only to get my hands on one of these posters.
