Funny thing about working on game project is that at some point you need a lot of irrelevent characters that don't exactly have any plot importance and... those are the hardest to #pixelart , at least for me. Masks and cloaks help a lot, but I still end up with badass farmers

Sometimes I get requests to make #pixelart based on existing characters and concepts, like this one, suggested by @shaybabensfw.bsky.social The idea was to swap the sci-fi elements that assosiated with this character for fantasy or rather tropical fantasy. Think I managed to pull it of. HYLI.

Though sometimes the inspiration goes out of hand and a #pixels piece resembles something that I was unaware of, a little too late. Too late infact that I don't feel like change anything and let it resemble the initial design...

I do tend to use characters from old, retro or just forgotten games as inspiration for #pixelart and my #pixel to appear in #rpgmaker game I do hope that this way I give some respect and remember that good old titles deserve This one is a fusion of two characters of ps2 era Hope you like it
