Ceci Rouse (my former boss at the CEA) is giving the @aefpweb.bsky.social keynote, including a history of federal student loans. She notes that the whole system starts with the 1958 National Defense Education Act. If only someone would write a paper on this. Oh wait, we just did!

Boston crew at #SREE2024!

Had an incredible time presenting my research with Dr. Marcus Winters on the effects of English learner reclassification at my first European conference IWAEE in late June! It was lovely catching up with old friend and mentors, and making new connections.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with such a dedicated and talented group of students. I'm truly honored to receive this beta hat!

As a first-time presenter and second-time attendee at #AEFP2024, I’m thrilled that our Wheelock Educational Policy Center’s strong presence this year started with my collaboration with Dr. Olivia Chi on paraeducators and ended with my joint work with Dr. Marcus Winters on EL reclassification.
