Every day I sit down to finish my momās taxes and every day there is a new snag I didnāt foresee. Yesterday I couldnāt get forms for her IRA, today I remembered that her dad put some of his work in her name so sheās an ASCAP member. That earned nothing last year thank the stars!

Extremely minor pet peeve: jars with thick contents like pasta sauces should be wide mouthed. Narrow mouthed jars only exist so that things suspended in liquid (pickles, fruit, etc.) are wedged in and donāt float up out of the liquid at the top. Donāt make me strain to get the last of a purĆ©e!

A recommendation by Western states allows anyone over 6 months old to get a COVID-19 shot. California insurance providers will have to cover the cost.

The thing that sucks most for me about getting old isnāt any of the changes to my body, itās that all the older people who cared for me and let me rely on them are gone. I do not always want to be the grown up! I still need to be the baby sometimes!

In other news, I was delayed by not one but TWO road closures on my way in to set up my pop up today. The second one was just a road closed sign blocking the street, no detour or anything, so I had to back track and get on the freeway for a bit to reach my destination.

The local art house theater is showing the 25th anniversary remastering of The Cell next month, and I'm debating going. I've never seen it, I tend to be a wimp about horror and I don't often like dream sequences. Then again I like stylish fantastic stuff like del Toro's a lot. What do you think?
