Fun Fact: The sword in stage 4 in Gimmick! Exact Mix falls a few pixels when appearing on screen.

I found a new game, it will be replacing Gimmick! on this account

Fun Fact: In some rare cases, when resetting the game, the game will get confused and replace the star with an orb or a bomb. Strangely, the game also acts like your inventory is full. Why this happens is unknown.

Fun Fact: If you shoot a star at the same time you fall into spikes, if done right, it will make the star get stuck in place when you spawn and you will be unable to use any weapons.

Fun Fact: The bird in stage 2 was originally going to be a smaller yellow bird that picked you up by the horn and slowly carried you back to the ship. He still exists in the game's code.

Fun Fact: Gimmick! was going to have a puzzle spinoff game for the Genesis, but it was cancelled far into its development. Every level would have had its own gimmick, such as stage 2 having a moving platform you would need to work with.

Fun Fact: Just like the star, the bomb also has leftover code for different physics. Instead of throwing them up into the air, they are thrown down and are supposed to roll, however, the code for the rolling is broken.

Fun Fact: Gimmick! used to have an unused cloud level after stage 2 on the cloud waterfall. Only two pictures of this seem to exist.
