A Deadly Education by @naominovik.bsky.social (The Scholomance #1) was better than I anticipated and I'm glad I gave it a chance. I don't have much experience with dark academia and expected different. I do have my complaints, I thought the world was especially interesting. Looking forward to book 2

Well of Lost Plots (Thursday Next #3) by @jasperfforde.bsky.social continues to be a delightful series. These books have a Douglas Adams feel of absurd things happening to a relatively straight faced protagonist as Thursday travels her own unique world and the world of various books. And a pet dodo.

I think I'm going to start doing little reviews of books as I finish them. First up is Tear Down Heaven, the 5th & final book in the Tear Down Heaven series by @rachel-aaron.bsky.social. What a great finale, balancing action, drama, and humor as usual! This was definitely a 5/5 series.
