Working on some basic head studies with my cosmic dragon Nero

Now to properly introduce you guys to Chroma’s dragon form: Nero. Total work time is about 6 hours, I tried some new techniques with this one. More art with him soon. Enjoy.

This is my space dragon sona Lumen. His dark spots change based on the moon phase and he has a extra long tail. He is a powerful telekenetic and has some telepathic abilities as well. I painted him myself.

The result of 5.5 hours of sketching, erasing, frustration, failure, research, studying, application, patience. 100% worth it for what I learned during this process.

Introducing my avatar/sona: Chroma. This is just a simple headshot but I'm working on a full body reference for him. He is basically a sentient cosmic singularly contained in a suit made of a unknown substance. Ill have more lore for him soon.
