I had to fit at least one Community reference in there. These are here to get some more pilots out fast, get some card draw, and get some much needed chip damage after Astralkat's ability slugs each opponent for big damage.

Completed split fiction with my fianceé yesterday holy shit that game is legendary. Extremely close to a 10/10 in my books, we had an absolute blast (almost) all the way through and it ends on the highest of high notes

I think the next step for me before continuing to work on this deck is to make a vertical slice prototype of sorts. I have a couple cards, I can throw in some existing cards, I need to see how this deck theoretically functions and what its needs are before I continue with designs

so with designing my fianceé's deck, the first question to me was of course the commander (ignore random card I made before then). It's gonna be real hard to make a card for my one true love that isn't crazy overpowered but I'll do my best!

Our first new card for the Astralkat deck, featuring a character from one of our favorite movies, Baby Driver! I unfortunately found out that the actor who plays baby died recently, hopefully this can be a little tribute to him. Fuck kevin spacey though, thankfully he dies horribly in this movie.

After finishing the astralkat racing deck, I'm probably going to get back to my custom persona 5 crossover deck (built around the villains of the game) and polish them some more

Today I want to talk about why art's so damn important (games are art). We all know learning and education is critical for society to function, but also that we're royally fucking it up and we're not truly fixing it anytime soon. It does not come CLOSE to preparing kids for the outside world.

There's something special about seeing characters you relate to in media, especially if you struggle with your own self-image. I'm a clumsy, absent-minded lass, hopeless romantic, and ADHD disaster. I felt like the recipe for a perpetual screwup.

It's always been hard to be proud of my past work, as all I can see in it is my past mistakes. Every time I learn something new, it feels like it's a game-changer that retroactively makes my past projects shit. And that made me worried to post here, because my shitty posts might be enshrined forever
