At least two things in this post are absolutely hilarious to me

The #Olympics has fucked up my movie watching so much that The Moment is still in my #LastFourWatched! I also canceled two movies this week because I was too tired. Life is bringing me down. #LetterboxdFriday

I went to pick up two of B’s meds today & had to leave them behind because in a month one went from $25 to $200+ & the other from $50 to $1k+. These are heart & diabetes meds, so things he can’t really live without. It was already a struggle to pay the lower prices after he got kicked off Medi-Cal.

The #Olympics are really fucking up my movie watching habits.

The most difficult part of being a King of the Hill fan is the complete lack of continuity/canon. You have to accept that there are two versions of Mrs. Platter: the housewife who lives in West Arlen & does not use contractions, and the surly Montana rancher who does.

I had an incredibly detailed dream in which I had to fight an old man for a frozen turkey that fell out of the bed of another man’s truck. I was trying to return the turkey to its rightful owner. It was the day before Thanksgiving. What is wrong with my brain?

I saw Identikit tonight at @alamodrafthouse.bsky.social for Weird Wednesdays & toward the end I kept dozing off. Liz is exquisite, but it was my second movie of the day (earlier we saw Send Help at CityWalk) so expecting me to stay awake 100% of the time is asking too much.

Some of these Harlan Coben adaptations are good, some are corny af. Currently watching Shelter, which is in the latter category. But Adrian Greensmith as Spoon is the absolute best part and is making this so easy to watch. A much more fun character than Sam in Run Away.

What exactly is this “war on protein” we’ve been waging that RFK Jr wants to end? Even people who don’t eat meat proteins still eat protein, we just get it elsewhere.
