There’s going to be a lot of activists telling you that you aren’t doing enough over the next four years, so please remember to follow your boundaries and limits — not theirs. Do more when you can, but don’t feel bad when you can’t. Your activism will ebb and flow over time, and that’s normal.

Do you know what’s not a helpful response to everything happening right now? “We’re fucked.” Do you know what is? “Here’s something you can do about it.” Don’t contribute to doomscrolling — that helps the fascists. Radical optimism rooted in action, community, and resilience is how we survive.
