I got back into Transformers circa the year 2000. I collected every Armada figure when they came out. Sideways was always one of my favourites. I couldn't wait for the Age of the Primes remake. Sadly it's a letdown and it just feels soulless. Rook and Crosswise are an afterthought.

Now I'm done working remotely today, I've got some new arrivals to open. I am well aware that I'm a hypocrite for buying Breakaway. I'm weak!

Cyberworld Soundwave is bonkers tentacle induced fun. It's like the designers at Hasbro have taken drugs and thrown the rules out the window. The figure could do with something to roll on, even though it is a sea vehicle. Apart from that, no notes.

Scourge really is bonkers good fun. In my head I'm humming along with the Pirates of the Carribbean theme whilst playing with him.

I've docked Megatron for the first time. It's a lot of fun working things out. I think this combination of dinosaurs works best from an aesthetic point of view.

I opened the first box, Megatron and Frost Saber. This is just big chunky basic fun. Megatron is bigger than I expected and Frost Saber slightly smaller. I just don't get why Hasbro hasn't imported Wild King. It really does strip Transformers back to the basics.

My madness has arrived. I cannot wait to open these.

A cheap Metalhawk has arrived. I'd avoided this, as it was too similar to the early version. However, for only £11, I couldn't leave it.

First day back at work after a week off

Since I'm on leave this week, we went toy shopping. Galvatron was a bargain from Smyth's for only £4.

Another set of defender class Blokees have arrived. Really looking forward to this set. Yes, I will be opening them a day at a time again.

After a recent blood test, apparently I've got severely low Vitamin D deficiency. I've got to take two little vials of ridiculous amounts of it once a week, for six weeks, to try and bolster my levels.

I've started playing Skyrim for the first time. It kept being recommended as I love Breath of the Wild. I've played a little bit and I'm really not clicking with it. Everything seems a bit disconnected and unclear. Am I missing something?

I've gone insane and bought a load of Wild King figures.

I've just finished reading Maus for the first time. It's a powerful and harrowing read. I need something a little lighter now.

This arrived today. I've been on the fence about getting it for a while. I'm finding I'm less keen on G1 figures, due to the lack of articulation, nowadays. It is amazing though to see how far Transformers, and the engineering, have come on in the past 40 years.

Since I've mostly done everything in Pokopia, I've started playing other games again. My current game of choice is Mortal Kombat 1. After enjoying the story of 11, I was enjoying the story of 1. Until the twist reveal of who has been helping the baddies halfway through. Its just ridiculous!

I'm glad I've now been able to get all of the Toxitron collection. It's mad that these figures exist and that I missed them at the time. Weirdly my favourite, despite the fact I own tons of versions of the mold, is G2 Sideswipe.

I've now completed all of the missions in Pokopia. The only thing left to do is try and complete the habitat dex. My annoyance with the habitat dex is some Pokémon being linked to more than one habitat. It makes it difficult to filter for habitats I haven't built.

Since I work for an institution where David Attenborough studied, we all got a free cupcake today.

Now I've got the Toxitron collection sorted. I'm lusting after Nightprowler, Sandstorm and Buzzsaw. I must be insane!
