It always bugged me that people (including official sources) pronounce "Gradius" as "Gray-dee-us" when I saw a lost PC Engine ad that pronounced it as "Gra-dee-es". I thought it was a Japanese pronunciation thing, but then I realized that "Gradius" is a corruption of "Gladius" and I when like AHHH!
