Two things: Charlie Kirk was a vile political hack … who said some of his worst things about mass shootings … and yet he did not deserve to be assassinated for his political rhetoric. Words should not be met with political violence. If you don’t like his ideas, confront them with better ones. (1)

Political violence is absolutely unacceptable of any kind. I don’t agree with Charlie Kirk on anything. I condemn this attack in every way. We cannot slip into violence. I’ve seen where this goes.
