Amazing news: There are six new North Atlantic right whale calves, bringing this year's total to 21! This is the highest number of births recorded in the last 15 years. While we don’t know if this trend will continue, 21 newborns in a calving season is a relatively productive year.

1/17/26: Entangled N. Atlantic right whale seen in Cape Cod Bay, MA.
