Had a lovely sunny #mtgcube + bbq today. We drafted a friends' peasant and powered cube. Went 2-1 and 3-0. Liked my decks a lot. Tried some peasant cards I don't run in mine. And after pretty good plant based sausages, enjoyed Tangle Wire people out in a pretty sick artifact Upheaval deck.

Hey #mtgcube fam: Thea Steele. She had a SCG column and ran cube drafts on MTGO before the Holiday cube was even a sparkle in Tom LaPille’s eye. I’m researching for @mtg.wiki but everything I find points towards that 2010-2012 timeframe. Was she still involved in the cubing community after that?

Does anyone have any experience with or thoughts about Madness and Eldrazi in cubes? Either as a full archetype or smaller package? I'm trying to find something for my peasant #mtgcube that feels powerful, exciting and is not an all-or-nothing parasitic archetype but a fun pocket of synergy.

We did a teamdraft of my old frame peasant (+rare lands) yesterday. Decks were fun, competitive, and everything felt quite balanced with all decks going 2-1 or 1-2 and few blowout games. The winning team: RB aggro 2-1, WRu aggro 2-1, BRu control 1-2
