We want to know what House Republicans are getting paid to do. Session is halfway over and House Appropriations & Revenue JUST had their first meeting to outline their budget bill and they didn’t even discuss the budget. They're taking public taxpayer dollars to discuss the budget in secret.

While the cost of living has been rising, the minimum wage hasn't increased in 17 years. Senator Reggie Thomas is fighting to change that. His bill, SB 16, would increase the minimum wage to $10 an hour.

This week, Senator Gary Clemons filed his first bill to repeal Kentucky's right to work law. SB 161 would allow more Kentuckians to join unions and bargain for better wages and benefits. We're proud to stand with him and with Kentucky workers who deserve a fair shot.

Diapers can cost families $100 a month per child, and no assistance program covers them. Senator Chambers Armstrong introduced bipartisan legislation to create a Diaper Trust Fund so Kentucky families don't have to choose between diapers and food.
