Kentucky, strong wind gusts are moving through the state tonight into tomorrow morning, and temperatures are expected to drop dramatically. A strong line of wind and showers will begin around 6 p.m. tonight and continue through 6 a.m. EST Monday, with gusts up to 40 mph. 1/2

Kentucky, we have reports of a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in Garrard County. This range does not typically produce sizable damage – just shaking – and thankfully, that is all that’s been reported so far. Emergency Management is monitoring the situation and surveying for damage. 1/2

The Post Dispensary in Beaver Dam is officially open as of today, selling safe medical cannabis to eligible Kentuckians! It took other states up to six years to get up and running, but we did it in two while still ensuring a safe, legal process.

After a lifetime of hard work, our Kentucky seniors deserve a safe home. Thanks to The Housing Partnership Inc., faith leaders and $52 million, that's being delivered for 116 Louisvillians. The transformation of an abandoned warehouse to Gateway on Broadway is going to change lives.

In the 4 years since tornadoes devastated Western Kentucky, we've shown the resilience of Team Kentucky. Together, we've built 254 homes and we're creating 953 rental units. Best of all, we've seen joy return to our families. I thank God for the progress we're making.
