Lansing rents are rising way too fast, and today’s Detroit News confirms it. The federal government can incentivize local governments to cut red tape and build more housing. That’s the kind of practical solution I’ll fight for in Congress.

The Supreme Court ruled Trump’s tariffs are illegal. Thank god - they jacked up costs and caused chaos for Michigan families and businesses for over a year. But now it’s time for Congress to act. If they don’t engage now, the administration will just try again.

Trump tried to *indict* Senators Slotkin and Kelly, and the citizens on that grand jury said ‘That’s not right.’ Senator Slotkin said it best: everyday Americans have the power to fight for and uphold our rights, our freedoms, and our liberties. Keep it up - your voice and your vote matter.

Tom Barrett has voted over and over to protect the Trump tariffs that make costs go up. The tariffs on Canada hit Michigan hard. Auto parts for a car made here cross the border multiple times - in a trade war, it’s our workers and businesses who get hurt.
