After many attempts, I've finally logged into my Arturia account and started downloading the update. Pigments is my favourite softsynth, so I suspect I'll have fun with this. From the slow download speed, it seems it's popular with everyone else too.

Printed out a new bowl on my 3d printer to put my keys in. This led me to sort out the keys I've got and there's two pairs of mystery keys. I've absolutely no idea what they unlock. Still, I'll keep them. Just in case.

I’ve just finished reading When There Are Wolves again by E.J. Swift. I loved it. A vision of a possible future where we manage to change course and possibly build a better world. Lovely evocative writing. I’d like to visit the Somerset marshes in the book.

Another clear night, so I managed to get some photos of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) in the skies over Harrogate. It was low in the north west, just above the tree tops, just before 8pm. Interesting to see some structure in the tail and a definite greenish glow around the comet. #astrophotography #comet

I've just got back home from seeing Frankenstein at the cinema. I loved it. Beautiful set design and I was entirely engrossed in the film, carried along with the plot and almost sorry to see it end. It's the best telling of the novel's plot that I've seen. Definitely one to see in the cinema.

I was 6 hours into a 20 hour 3D print when the power went off. When the power came back on, the printer asked me if I wanted to resume ... but then tried to restart the print from scratch anyway. Ah well, back to square one. I guess it's risky to start it again while this storm is still hitting.

Disaster. Storm Amy has killed the power just as I was about to make a cup of tea. She could have waited a few minutes.
