Frustration got to me tonight. Broke down and cried. I feel utterly helpless and defeated. Tomorrow is a new day

Being bedridden and unable to sit up for more than 2 hours Sleeping the day away (14+hrs) Pain being constant and fear it’ll never end The state of the world No wonder I’ve been feeling depressed lately

Worst part about my recovery is that I can’t stand/bend for long periods of time… can’t do certain self care and it’s really triggering dysphoria. I feel so gross

After the surgery I realize I have the energy of a toddler. I’m up and raring to go, ready to the take on the world. 2-3 hours later I’m completely exhausted from eating breakfast and watching YouTube. It the proceeds to be nap time and the cycle continues when I wake next
