We've gotten the living room into a clean enough state that I'm not horribly embarrassed by it. The bathroom is clean apart from some cat hair on the walls and floor corners that needs to be scrubbed. The kitchen is the only huge project left, and most of that is Sam's job to clean.

Tiktok just corrupted a video that I've been working on for a week.

I have this overwhelming feeling at all times that there's a tally kept against by me everyone in my life, and if I fuck up too many times they'll leave me. I even feel like this with my parents, siblings, and Sam. 🙃

We're three weeks into training, and they still haven't told us how our metrics work, but our trainer keeps telling us that we're doing good. I know it's probably because they don't want to stress us out while we're learning, but the not knowing is stressing me out personally.

It took me two days to finish it, but Frankenstein was pretty enjoyable. The only Guillermo del Toro film that I've seen more than once is Crimson Peak, so I'll forever be comparing his other work against that masterpiece of a film, and I'm not sure where to rank Frankenstein.

This year my anxiety has decided that getting rabies is a HUGELY present threat. Feral cats? Rabid. Stray dogs? Rabid. Raccoon in the backyard? Rabid. Are any of them actually rabid? Likely not. But my brain won't let me enjoy animals like it did. I don't even trust the cat distribution system.

I love Ashnikko, but as someone with dental trauma of my own as well as navigating Sam's dental trauma, the whole rabbit teeth pulling thing makes my stomach turn.

Training for this new role has humbled me. For the first time in 7 years, I don't know everything.

Had to bump up Basil's thermostat this morning because with how cold it is his cool side had gotten down to 69°F (nice). The house thermostat says it's 75°, but Basil's heat not being maintained along with my shivers and goosebumps makes me doubt that.
