one of my greatest inspirations that i hope to one day replicate as a writer is Planiverse and how deep it explores every nook and cranny of its hypothetical world with diagrams visualizing what a 2D world looks like i hope to one day achieve the same result in a porno xD

Had the thought that the stars could do with a makeover in ELI2D. I think it's good. I don't know if the planets should be touched though. They're bridging classic and contemporary

{} RaiseBridge(Anyone). The system allocates the closest NPC Job runs, has the NPC path to the bridge lower button. Has NPC play Anim(PullLever) marks the job done Now, lets say as the NPC is running over there it gets killed. Job grabs an NPC and does it again Was neat & used, but not noticed

Reading all the game review/criticism discourse that's coming across my feed today, I'll say again what I've said elsewhere: 1) Game criticism needs a reason to exist beyond consumer reviews 2) Game criticism should pivot to championing games people don't know and making arguments for playing them

Should / could the Marble Run be an actual game and not a toy? My initial thought is each race is a session, and the track construction for each race is done by the player using unlocked pieces. More wins == more points == more pieces. The start for each track would have to have a splitter/funnel

I've started an
itch.io
collection called "Gentle fun". It's for non-violent games like Fluttery and A Day at the Beach that can be played with the kids. The idea is to drag them off YouTube for 10 minutes or so. I'm open to suggestions for games? Free preferred, paid is ok too.

ELI2D still needs a bit of work on Thargoids / Witchspace. I'm also tossing up what to do about the speed of laser bolts. Shooting forwards reduces the effective range when firing on a ship you're following because the bolt is timed and you "chase" it. Beam is a heavy bolt in ELI2D instead too.

I used to host a twitter artbot called TRIGONOMETRYBOT. It ran for years and was decommissioned when the API changes were rolled out and the site became hostile to bots. I recently did some work to bring it up to spec. Here are some of the first revival canvases:

I know it's super-cheesy and has been done to death but I never got past the trauma of the ALIENS game on the C64 and one day I'd like to try my own take on putting my team in peril and screwing up the extraction with a massive acid soaked firefight.
