I'm with Bart, I'm pretty much using uv for everything Python these days, even doing a quick 'uv init' for quick ad-hoc scripts. He's got some stuff in this thread for converting from poetry to uv which is awesome...I just never did much with poetry so don't have any projects needing to convert.

Why do technology vendors want to restrict who can get access to their product/service documentation? I may not be a customer, but it seems to me that, if your product/service is any good, *anyone* knowing more about your product/service is a good thing. Are they ashamed of their wares?

Thoughts on Autocon2, a 🧵 Last week I attended Autocon2, put on by the Network Automation Forum networkautomation.forum/autocon2. As an extreme introvert, the non-stop interaction with various folks was absolutely exhausting, and today is the first day I feel vaguely human again. 1/?

I'm still in transit back home from #Autocon2. (I stayed in Denver Friday night) I'll have more to say in the future. For now: I'm extremely glad I went, got to visit with friends/colleagues, and connect with new folks. Also, for those wondering, the "Open to Work" badge did its job very well.
