Man I want to draw some Alice Gear Aegis fanart... Also waiting for new nippers in the mail to build Ayaka. Due to a mishap its taking over a week and to cope I bought another megami device. Its so bad that even though certain design elements make me blush I caved anyway due to kitbash potential.

I need to find the time to (finish a colored art work) draw some alice gear aegis. I love the mobile game, the designs but man I wish I could read japanese. AGA: CS is my only window to understanding the characters, and my favorite isn't in there >_<. CS is also a really fun game.

In the past I used to draw a lot with friends on Pixiv, overtime life got in the way and it became less possible for that. Today even though I want to do such a thing even with other people Sketch Lives shut down. Anyone have any idea of where to do something similar today with your own drawing...

The best and worst feeling is getting ready to go to bed and getting the drawing urges. Then drawing, having some fun and realizing its 3am. Then having to fight off the urge to just stay up all night and draw some more because eitherway tomorrow will be suffering.

Drawing woes #123 I swear something has to be up with my mindset. I struggle drawing from reference and drawing other's characters but doing it blind from memory makes it seem like two different people. I want to draw characters I like but it never reaches my bar to be content with.

The most frustrating thing about american politics is people seeing left vs right as defining who one is or what people are after at the end and not the means to addressing the issues we all acknowledge. AMAZING! I stick to prehistoric animals but I really love how some modern day creatures look, and with both those life references are key. I've also been wanting to look at beetles a lot for mecha design inspiration.

Riders in the skies did not play for me but still going through it. I think with the goals in life I want and the obstacles before me I'll have to sacrifice part of how I enjoy drawing to do what I used to years ago else where. #Art Dilemma: I have chars I like and want to draw fanart for but I can never quite get into drawing them. (Even if i could write an essay on them I always ask, would they pose like this? Are these emotions right? Is it faithful?) If you draw #fanart how do you get past it or solve this issue?

I like old Halo era Bungie, when Destiny came out it became crippled. Throughout D2 they lost more and more of themselves and their ability. For years its been clear to me the Bungie I loved was dead. But dang this corpse won't stop shambling. At least the dumpster fire is colorful with its glows.

Funny thing I've recently realized. As a kid I'd draw 2 things super heroes & villains I came up with and non mammalian creatures in a very caveman like drawing. When I took improving seriously I drew people far more often and creatures occasionally for fun.

quick doodle. i realized i have a problem, (posing well) devised a solution, (use a good posable figure as reference so i don't have to reference hunt.) then found a new problem (i have to design a char on the fly some of the time since i can't see my favorite existing chars doing it).

my old device is dying so moving to port my older files over from it, i feel like every time i stopped drawing for a time I created a timeline where i didn't, developed that and drew very different than I do now. and not in a bad way. probably gonna do a bunch of redraws when i get some more air.

Been in the art study mines and the heat is getting to my tablet. Body is ailing too but my willpower at this point silences it. probably not a good thing but ONE MORE PUSH is how i've been sleeping at 2am daily as of late. End of the week will be my hard limit to go back to chill mode.

I have not found the time to fully sit down on these so it ended up rushed. I do need to think about how the innerframes for the mechs will work so my ideas for the plating functions right. Also design the weaponry they will use visually.

Yesterday didn't exist and today it was finally warm enough to spray a finish on a model kit i've been wanting to finish for months now. Screw old model kits and their shallow pannel lines and details. Using water decals for the first time was cool too took a while but got used to them. Drawings...

Was out of it today when I drew some creatures, just cleaned up a sketch but will be sharing it tomorrow (not yesterday) since I had some loitering time and addressed my core issue with drawing mechs: no sense of function. So did some world building to justify things. Magic Death Tag.

Flipped a coin and got tails, so Monster it is should post some things yesterday. That said I did some mecha doodles anyway earlier and I got to study a few mechanical things to try and make them work better. Also probably should have mentioned by monster I mean more spec evo/ fantasy creature.

Eye is getting much better however timing for what I wanted to draw last week is off. Should I draw a Mech or Monster of some sort? Nothing specific just which of those big blocks to draw. And what I kinda want to draw of either isn't compatible... nvm but still don't want to do a merged thing.

Was actually planning on sharing some drawings this weekend for once in a blue moon. My right eye had other plans. Hopefully I can have a doctor check it and can see it heal. Vision is fine but it dries fast and is very irritated, not red though. Well back to meditation.

To the wide world out there: how do you shade with gel pens? When I try pressing lightly to vary how much ink I put down it is never consistent like with a pencil. So clearly I need a different strategy. I'm not great friends with cross hatching so wondering what else I can try. #art #artadvice
