New spring growth on one of our Jasmine plants. When I got it, it was meant to be a red flowering variety, but it turned out to be pink. We have another which is white flowering. Both lovely!

Saw a Holly Blue butterfly today in the garden. Hope it returns as I’d like to get a photo of the upper side of its wings if I get the chance! They are a darker grey/blue with white edging, and some black near the upper tips of the wings.

I had a birdsong ID app listening as we walked. It picked up lots of species, including Blackcap, wren, chiff-chaff and even a gold crest. I didn’t see them to identify though, but I could hear birdsong ☺️.
