Dram 5 - Score: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 - I'd be over the moon if given a bottle of this, and would probably drink it fairly quickly. The crossbar rattles and it just goes over for a 4 #BlindDrams

Dram 5 - The finish: Typical peated dram leaving a longer lasting finish but this one is sweet, gentle and very enjoyable #BlindDrams

Dram 5 - On the palate: What the nose promises the palate delivers. Warm and welcoming, the stoves on with a lump of peat smouldering away, the Labrador is lying in front of it and a handful of butterkist popcorn is being enjoyed #BlindDrams

Dram 5 - On the nose: Lovely warming and balanced peat smoke and a galaxy caramel sweetness.Maple syrup marinated spare ribs appear on the palate and I’ve not even tasted it yet #BlindDrams

Dram 5 - Appearance: Lightest dram of the night colour wise, seasoned pine in colour. Lots of beading quickly develops into good legs #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - Score: ⭐⭐ 2/5 - At a decent price I'd buy a glass of this, but wouldn't invest in a whole bottle. Does just enough to achieve a 2 #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - The finish: Leaves a peaty note along with a touch of sweetness #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - On the palate: Nice delivery, still a touch of smoke combining with a drying spice and a smorgasbord of dried citrus fruit #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - On the nose: Doesn’t give much away this one, appears better balanced but still a dominant note of spirit / wine. A wee touch of smoke and old fish and chip paper #BlindDrams

Dram 4 - Appearance: Dark copper in colour, mix of large beads intermingled with lots of small ones. Quickly develops into thick apparently oily legs #BlindDrams

Dram 3 - Score: ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 - Damn drinkable and if within my price range, I'd happily buy (or have bought) one of these and enjoy it. Middle of the road dram #BlindDrams

Dram 3 - The finish: A lingering finish that’s slightly bitter but not unpleasant #BlindDrams

Dram 3 - On the palate: Tingling on the tip of the tongue before delivering an interplay of warm spice and maple syrup sweetness #BlindDrams

Dram 3 - On the nose: Alternates between a hit of alcohol and then a chocolate croissant with an extra spread of Nutella #BlindDrams

Dram 3 - Appearance: Burnished copper which has good beading which develops into slow moving oily legs #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - Score: ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 - Damn drinkable and if within my price range, I'd happily buy (or have bought) one of these and enjoy it. A dram which starts quietly, builds to a crescendo and then fades #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - The finish: Pleasant lingering finish specifically in the mouth with the throat almost devoid of anything #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - On the palate: A really sweet spice, sriracha mixed with Demerara sugar. A cloying dry note lingers in the mouth #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - On the nose: Takes a while to reveal itself as quite closed then a sweet honey granola along with some washing up liquid #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - Appearance: Mahogany with good visible beading that develops into fast moving legs #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 5 palate delivers heat, sweetness and a salty note. Leaves a fiery note on the finish, Bombay mix in a glass but not unpleasant, difficult to pinpoint a score but overall a 3 #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 5. Red blush in colour. Beads easily before slowly forming legs. Fresh on the nose, artificial sweetness, dried strawberry’s,, fruit loops and pouring honey. #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 4 on the palate continues the orange bitters theme. Warming and rich with a lingering warmth, habanero peppers, dark chocolate and orange peel. Most appealing dram of the night so far, scrapes a 4 #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 4. Polished teak in colour, good being with the beads slowly combining into teardrop shaped slow moving legs. Salted caramel dark chocolate with a touch of orange bitters #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 3 on the palate is both sweet and drying. Initial taste shows an intense Demerara sugar sweetness with a touch of coffee before lapsing into an intense, cloying and slightly unpleasant dryness. A drop of H2O produces a slightly better balance but a lingering fiery note #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 3. Rich burnished copper in colour. Obvious beading then after taking its time thick oily legs develop. Rich on the nose, sweet dried fruit, Medjool dates, fruit pastels reveal themselves after a high abv spirit. #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 2 palate delivers better than the nose but only by the muddy dogs cold nose. A sharp salty spice and artificial sweetness leaving a warm mouth feel but no lasting depth. A challenging dram that scores a 2 #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 2: colour of a rich Rose wine. Beading in glass which slowly develops into very slow mowing legs. Spirity on the nose which try’s to overpower other notes. Damp cardboard & muddy dog before a touch of Lemon Curd sweetness starts to break through #BlindDrams

#BTC62 Dram 1, palate is smooth delivering a wave of sweet fruit cocktail with a lingering light spice and then very drying. Entertaining and palatable first dram. A middle of the road 3 #BlindDrams
