Think about the *way* that your character would speak- their tone, formality, how long their sentences tend to be, and such. The way they speak will also inform the way that they think, which will in turn influence everything else.

Jay's home world uses a 13-month calendar and 13-house Zodiac, and within that structure, he's an Ophiuchus. Translating that was... painful amounts of math, but long story short, he's a Sagittarius in the 12-house system.

Jay canonically did not fight Zenos at the end of the world. He just ignored him, continually, and walked away slowly until Zenos literally exploded in rage, and he didn't even care. He also did not summon Emet-Selch in Ultima Thule, it was just Hythlodaeus.

As a dragon, who can breathe fire, I don't know if he's even capable of registering spice.

Jay has to constantly fight every extremely strong instinct he has to not be stiflingly overprotective at all times, but in his defense, he has seen both of his partners die in his arms on entirely separate occasions.
