As we reach the final day of the year, we’re reflecting on a remarkable 2025 at The Royal Parks charity 🌳 From exciting new projects to conservation milestones and international events, there’s so much to celebrate 🙌 Here we look at some key highlights 🔽 #12MonthsOfTRP

November 2025: We welcomed members of the public to plant thousands of bulbs in the new two-acre garden being created to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II in The Regent’s Park 🌱 Attendees also got chance to have a sneak peak of the new garden, which opens in spring 2026 🌺 #12MonthsOfTRP

November 2025: The UK's most iconic festive winter event - Winter Wonderland - returned with a new look to Hyde Park🎢 Running for seven magical weeks it offers a variety of attractions and activities. From the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink to thrilling shows at Zippos Circus 🎪 #12MonthsOfTRP

November 2025: We were awarded a Landscape Institute Award for Excellence in Heritage and Culture for our flagship restoration project, Greenwich Park Revealed 🎉 The award emphasised the need to protect and preserve both natural and built heritage 🌳 #12MonthsOfTRP

October 2025: Autumn was in full swing across the parks with a host of wonderful colours on display 🧡 From the crunch of leaves and mist rising from the ground to bright oranges and yellows on the trees a different light was shined upon the parks 🌳 #12MonthsOfTRP

October 2025: It was another record-breaking year at the Royal Parks Half Marathon. An extraordinary £8.5 million was raised for 550 charities 🙌 Runners undertook a new route including more historic landmarks & an iconic finish line between the Albert Memorial & Royal Albert Hall 🏃 #12MonthsOfTRP

September 2025: We released a new film to help visitors stay safe during the deer rutting season in Bushy Park & Richmond Park 🦌 This film provides guidance on keeping a safe distance, understanding deer behaviour & taking care with dogs, helping keep visitors & wildlife safe ✅ #12MonthsOfTRP

September 2025: To mark Accession Day, when His Majesty The King acceded to the throne, a spectacular 41 Gun Royal Salute by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery was held in Hyde Park 💥 The King's Troop fired several gun salutes in the parks throughout the year 🐴 #12MonthsOfTRP

August 2025: We celebrated 25 years of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens 🙌 Thousands of children and their carers attended, with the the occasion being marked by special play sessions and the sharing of plans for the renewal of the playground 👷 #12MonthsOfTRP

August 2025: The Regent's Park sports team were awarded the London Football Association Grounds Team of the Year 2025 🏆 The award recognised the inclusive football provision offered in the park - providing some of the highest quality sports pitches in London 👏 #12MonthsOfTRP

July 2025: Thousands of people came to support the Lionesses on their Homecoming celebration in St. James's Park following their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 victory 🏆 Fans headed to the park to see the parade along The Mall before celebrations around the Queen Victoria Memorial 🎉 #12MonthsOfTRP

May 2025: It was another busy month in Greenwich Park - with two milestone announcements. For the first time since 2021 a new herd of eight fallow deer returned to the park 🦌 At the end of the month the Rose Garden reopened after an exciting multi-year regeneration project 🌹 #12MonthsOfTRP

May 2025: The Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park once again reached its full bloom during this month 🌸 Putting on a magnificent display of colours which was enjoyed by thousands of park visitors 😍 #12MonthsOfTRP

May 2025: A military procession and flypast took place along The Mall in St. James's Park to mark 80 years since VE Day 🌹 The procession passed by a platform on the Queen Victoria Memorial which housed His Majesty The King, members of The Royal Family and Second World War veterans💂 #12MonthsOfTRP

April 2025: A new code of conduct for cyclists within the Royal Parks was launched. This code of conduct is aimed at enhancing the safety of visitors and improving the park experience for everyone 🚲 #12MonthsOfTRP

April 2025: We welcomed hundreds of local families to plant trees to celebrate the opening of the renewed Petersham Playground in Richmond Park 🌱 A day filled with fun activities, led by our Help Nature Thrive team and Friends of Richmond Park, welcomed people throughout the day 🧒 #12MonthsOfTRP

March 2024: After the long winter months the first signs of spring could be seen around the parks throughout this month 🌼 From cherry blossom to crocuses, the splash of colour was well received 🌸 #12MonthsOfTRP
