One friend group hasn’t all been together since last summer because kids are in sports year-round. Always a sport conflict.🧵

Going to kid birthday parties might just be my very least favorite thing about being a parent. Today’s was a doozy including the bday girl’s older brother literally cat calling my 11yo daughter and the bday girl’s family laughing hysterically about it. So my 11yo learned what cat calling is today.😑😤

Today I bought a bunch of flowers and my joy meter is on full blast. It’s wild how much flowers improve my emotional wellbeing. My dining room becomes a greenhouse the end of April into May every year while we wait for the last frost. And the overflowing colors are giving me life.
