Axel’s last name is a pun on “Arma” as in “Armalite” He’s an ace pilot and expert martial artist, using what’s described as taijutsu, but is also capable of fighting with swords as well. He’s rather jaded and cynical, but this has slowly changed through the series.

Looking forward to this one. Also while the box calls it the “Ashsaviour” it’s technically the “Ashe/Ashsaber”” though Terada was apparently informed of how you could read that as “Saver” and went with this because it was cool. It’s better than Aschenretter like the AP fan translation wrote.

If Guel’s playable in another SRW game, I’d like it if he gets a moment like this with Miorine. This was a fun moment as a person that genuinely likes Jerid as a character (though he’s not as fun as someone like Jonathon)

Come to think of it, she might’ve been able to do something about Shem-Ha. Or at least Amaterasu could’ve. As she says “there’s no way the younger brother (moon) can beat the older sister (sun)” And that’s not even getting to some of the other stuff on Earth.

‘Course, Tamamo’s also likely to get summoned by Hibiki, or rather, choose to be summoned. She tends to like it when her masters have good intentions and are generally noble. It’s something she sort of lacks and wants to have.

If Hibiki were to summon someone like Karna then I think it’d fix itself. A big point in Extra is just how fucking broken a Servant he is. And yeah. If you don’t grind enough he can one shot Tamamo. That girl isn’t built for taking hits.

There’s also the genuine possibility of Tamamo trying to kill Hibiki, because she’s not Neutral Evil for shits and giggles. That woman can be really cruel when she wants to be.

I still think that these two would have weird compatibility as Master and Servant. Like they match up in terms of mentality, but also have a pretty high chance of making something cataclysmic happen out of genuine affection because of that.

The Razangriff and Randgriz (red and green respectively) both being designed similarly to an AC as well, with a modular design that would allow for easier mass production. The two units used in SRW are piloted by Yuuki Jenegan and Ricarla Borgnine.

I talk a lot about SRW OG, but I haven’t talked about the Lion series much, and they’re actually some of the more unique Banpresto Originals, they’re what I think of when I see Armored Core designs. Well them and the Razangriff. Even getting an upgrade named “Raven”

Funny thing about Super Heroine Chronicle, there’s a mechanic where if you do enough damage to an enemy’s “status HP” you enter this mode where you press buttons to do more attacks and see images of the characters. Most of them are action poses or fanservice, but one of Satoko’s is just this.

Y’know I hadn’t actually read Shirabe Meshi yet, but that’s a funny way to get around showing a character that’s supposed to be dead. But then they show Ver in the same chapter, and that fucker was definitely dead.

I’ll buy the Ashesaber next, then clean up what kits I’ve got left. After that, I have my eyes set on something. I’ve heard nothing but good things, and I want to try an RG. Why not the God?

It’s a bit too busy to be very posable, but man. That’s nice.

haven’t finished putting the stickers on yet, and don’t have all the equipment done, but this feels nice. Don’t Stop, Carry On. And use LOTS of weapons.

They actually serve the same niche in their respective games (well one for Hibiki, Super Heroine Chronicle) in that they’re both damage dealers. With Hibiki having two skills to boost her attack for a turn.

If it wasn’t for that biometric lock, she’d be a monster in the Soulgain too. Axel using Gungnir would make some sense I suppose. If we go by VA’s, he’s no stranger to using a spear.

Y’know if there’s one thing I’ve notice about the stories that I like, but have moments or characters that I dislike, it’s that I hate the sunk cost fallacy. It usually just pisses me off. Even if it’s not outright stated as such, when I think back on characters like Shion I just get mad.

Progress on the V2 Assault Buster. One thing I’ve noticed about these older HG’s is that it’s much harder to pull any of the pieces out without nippers, with the OG kits you can do that just fine for some of them.

There’s just something really funny about the fact that I can have these two characters fight alongside each other.

If anyone’s interested in tracking down a physical copy of Super Heroine Chronicle, I’d really recommend it, they’re going for about 30-ish bucks. Which for an SRW style game (something you’ll be playing for a while) is a good value. I mostly got it for Symphogear and Higurashi.

I’ll be building it as the Assault Buster V2. Once I get into a new apartment (which is hopefully soon) I’ll probably start buying RG’s or MG’s more often. As I am right now, it’s hard to store them.

Since the HG Cybuster is on hold until I get some plastic cement, I’ll start on this.

Something kind of funny is that Tsubasa reminds me of Irm in terms of design, but Irm’s personality is far closer to Tsubasa’s Another version. Sort of laidback playboy type. Voiced by Kenyuu Horiuchi (Mashmyre)
