Spurs 🤝 quick opposition hatricks. 😭 We have been SO porous. Again conceded a corner, made errors, inc one for their 3rd. Some last ditch defending / offside calls or it could be worse. Been okay progressing the ball but need better crosses & final balls. Only 2 touches in their box this half. 🙄

That was a weird game. We were terrible at the back for most of the first half and then pretty decent in the 2nd. Created chances throughout and ended up with a higher xG. Obvs City took their foot off the gas a little but we showed a good fighting spirit. That said, be good to see Clare & Tōko back

5-1 at the break. If we just broke down on the M1 every year and conceded this fixture (with a 3-0 loss recorded) we would on average do better than turning up and playing. 😭😭🤣🤣 That said, we are creating chances, so maybe we can score another couple and end the game on a (relative) high. 🙏

That something fundamentally about player welfare is 'controversial' is ridiculous (& racist) but also speaks to the relative invisibility of Muslim players in UK football. This goes double for the women's game, where the UK's Muslim population is seriously under-represented.
