Construction update: They covered the pit yesterday, and spread mulch around the patio; I'm guessing there will not be any plants. What I thought was going to be another grill seems to be a gas/electric station instead, since it has a cute little door in it.

Construction update: It's a wrap! They got here at 8 sharp, and immediately began removing the caution tape & fencing. I hope the landscape crew is next up, because it certainly needs some plants to soften the look. So, no fountain for me, just a firepit. Ah well. It was fun to watch!

The wind is picking up, so I went outside to take down a hanging plant before it becomes battered, & saw the full moon. Amazing to think in 5 days, humanity will be zipping around it again. I blew her a kiss, & whispered, 'we're coming back to visit you.' I wonder if we'll ever live there.

Got my updated covid vx & decided to take a fun road home; it's chock full of twists & tight turns, which is what my Mini was made for. Did I have fun, you ask? No. No, I did not because I was trapped by two oversized SUVs that were terrified by the turns & rode the brakes the entire time. 🙄😒😤🤬
