Turns out those initials are actually MD and the artist is UK illustrator Mark Duffin, who also did the Atari ST box art for Tempest, though Mark confirmed for OVGA that neither original painting was ever returned. Mark said both were a rush and had to be done overnight!

#LogLoads64 Short Circuit I think I am getting confused with Hacker II as a game being actually good. Because, let's face it, cute as it is, SC on the #C64 is not a very good game and I LIKE the Galway title SID! It's a bit of a clunky Impossible Mission affair to start with, no clue. Dead. Twice.
