The reporting on the trans travel visa ban is criminal. It does NOT only affect transgender athletes. The cables CLEARLY say it affects all trans people. They can reject visas on point 6 of anyone who is requesting a visa that does not match their assigned sex at birth.

The amazing Fadi Tabbal - sound experimentalist, engineer, all-round pillar of the Beirut left-field music community - has a new solo LP on the way from Ruptured: pensive, elegant, stripped-down meditations for guitar and synth reflecting on mental health struggles in a broken world.

Very pumped for this new LP from Kurdish-Iranian tanbur hero Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian, coming in March via the always-amazing Radio Khibayan. The preview track is grainy and taut, pairing a sort of tactile fragility to the energy of a triumphant psych-rock banger. Thrilling!
