Very grateful to @outdoorphotography.bsky.social for publishing some images from my zine. I only have a few copies of the Zine left (and there won’t be another print run!)

In about 1 week this will be a carpet of bluebells. I will return to see how it looks, but I can't help wonder if they might detract from the woodland tones I love so much in this image?

Taken from Ballintoy. Rathlin island in the foreground and Mull of Kintyre in the backdrop. I had no Idea Scotland was so close to the Northern Irish coast!

My plan this morning was to embrace the joys of spring and scout some wild garlic or bluebell woods. The weather had other ideas.

It's around this time of year, I take a break from woodland, and head to the coast.

ANNOUNCEMENT: My new zine is coming soon! A self published project attempting to bust the myth that woodland photography needs mist. 36 pages of A5 images produced using Kozu Books' Zine printing service, I aim to be taking orders before the end of the month.😀

With good maintenance I’ve kept this this old tripod going for 8 years. It’s had had 17 new legs and 14 new clamps and is good as new. 😂
