‘Rugrats’ (2021) has officially ended after three seasons. The final episode “Big Cake Day”, a 2 parter aired Saturday and Sunday on Nickelodeon Global. Hopefully Season 3 can be released in the US at some point.

‘Teen Titans Go’ will get an all day marathon on Cartoon Network while ‘Popeye’ will get an all day marathon on Boomerang on Saturday, July 4th.

Nickelodeon is celebrating the Summer with an increase of ‘SpongeBob’ airings and its new episodes on Fridays with “SpongeBob’s Summer of F.U.N.”

All ‘Pokemon Journeys’ seasons are leaving Netflix after tomorrow. This was the first Pokemon series to premiere exclusively on Netflix in the US. And the last with Ash Ketchum. This show will likely join Disney+ when ‘Pokemon’ joins Disney+ in August.

‘Dragon Striker’ will get a weekly slot at 8a-9a on Saturdays & on Sundays at 8a during Disney XD’s weekend morning Anime & Action block starting June 20th. This block is pretty much Jetix 2.0, ‘Armorsaurs’ even airs Sundays at 8:30a & 9:00a. Reruns will also air sporadically on weekdays.

DFC is set to air marathons from 6-2p of various series including ‘MLP: FiM’, ‘Wild Manes’, ‘Steven Universe’, & ‘Bubble’s Hotel’ every Monday part of their New Monday Fun Day block for the Summer. ‘Bubble’s Hotel’ is airing on the block on Monday.

IT'S FINALLY HERE! Rugrats 2021 S3 has started its run on Nick Global. Like S7 of the original, they updated the intro to include Dil, Kimi and two new characters Darsh and Nyra (who first appeared in S2's finale). I didn't think they would update the intro, but I'm glad I was wrong!

NickSpongeBob is likely to return in the US during Summer months on Nicktoons as its all ‘SpongeBob’ starting Memorial Day, May 25th.

According to a press release from Disney about their presence at Annecy this year, ‘The Doomies’ & ‘Dragon Striker’ are coming from Disney Television Animation. They’re just being animated and majority of the other production is being done in Europe. newsroom.disney.fr/actualites/a...

Dragon Striker’ will premiere with the entire 11 episode season dropping starting at 5p on Tuesday, June 9th on Disney XD & next day on Disney+ & on the Disney XD section on Hulu. (Disney XD on Hulu houses their anime content so it makes sense). It will premiere on Disney Channel on 6/12 at 7pm.

‘Bugs Bunny Builders’, ‘Batwheels’, and ‘Barney’s World’ are off Cartoon Network starting Monday, May 25th. Likely due to Summer break starting and CN beginning their Summer schedule. If going by how things turned out last year, they’ll likely be back in the Fall. ‘Bugs’ & ‘Batwheels’ are on DFC.

New to Nickelodeon episodes of ‘Sonic Prime’ premiere Friday, May 15th at 6pm. The episode is the Season 3/Final Season premiere episode “Grim Tidings”. It looks like Nickelodeon will indeed air the entire series!

‘Bugs Bunny Builders’ joins DFC starting Saturday, May 16th at 7:00am.

The ‘Grizzy & The Lemmings’ preschool spin off, ‘Baby Lemmings’ premieres on Monday, May 25th on Cartoonito EMEA feeds and on Boomerang UK.

The short form series ‘Krypto Saves the Day!’ has been renewed for Season 2 for YouTube, HBO Max, & Cartoon Network. The newest short, “Coastal Catastrophe” premieres Saturday, April 18th at 9a on Cartoon Network & online with reruns airing sporadically the following days.

Hasbro is set to launch a brand new nostalgia focused channel that will be coming to 70 million homes across broadcast stations known as Hasbro Legends. Hasbro Legends will air 80s & 90s programs including ‘Power Rangers’, My Little Pony’, ‘Transformers’, ‘G.I. Joe’, ‘Jem’ & more.

Rugrats’ (2021) Season 3 premieres on Nickelodeon Global starting Monday, June 1st at 11:45p. Hopefully a US release will follow suit at some point.

Alec Botnik is currently the executive VP of CBS Studios’ comedy division, animation division, & unscripted. He’s been at CBS since 2015 & was promoted to an executive position in 2021. He has developed top shows like ‘Ghosts’. He’ll also oversee Nick’s Unscripted division. Seems like a great pick!

Nickelodeon Animation Studios will become a label within CBS Studios ran by newly appointed President, Alec Botnik who will report to CBS’ George Cheeks. The studio is going to reinvent how they meet today’s kids & families. They plan to reach preschoolers first through cross platforms.

‘Jade Armor’ has made its linear US premiere on Primo TV today. Airing at 6:30p & 11:00p on Tuesdays & Thursdays. 11:00a on Wednesdays & Fridays. If you didn’t know this series was planned to air in the US on Cartoon Network & HBO Max but that never happened due to the WBD merger.

‘Wild Manes’ a web series from Epic Story Media & Jakks Pacific joins DFC starting Saturday, April 18th at 12:30p. It’s a MLP rip off, I guess. Also, ‘Transformers Rescue Bots’ is not leaving and will get weekends at 7:30am on the 18th as well.

Former HBO Max original series ‘Odo’ has a new home in the US. It’s now streaming on Angel.

‘Grizzy and the Lemmings’ now has its own channel in the US in association with WildBrain on Roku.

‘Transformers Rescue Bots’ leaves DFC after Friday, April 3rd. Another Hasbro show down.

I just noticed that Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. On Demand has removed ‘Sonic Prime’ & ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ respectively. This comes after both shows were pulled off the daytime lineups recently. I’m guessing the rights with Nickelodeon have expired.

Reruns of ‘iCarly’ return to TeenNick starting on Saturday, April 4th from 1:04p-7:15p airing on Saturdays and Sundays. We’ll see if this actually sticks around this time.

‘Dragon Striker’ will be premiering on Disney XD and next day on Disney+ later this year. The show is produced by Disney EMEA’s division and Chouette Studios. It marks the return of story driven cartoons for older kids since the conclusions of ‘Amphibia’ & ‘The Owl House’.

To tie in with the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, MeTV Toons is getting The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! on Monday, March 30, 2026! It will be airing there weekdays at 8 AM, replacing Beetlejuice.

‘Blue’s Clues & You’ returns to Nick Jr. starting Monday from 12-1pm.
