Loki has always faced the judgment of others. While he tries to act like it does not sting, it does. He would spare her that. But she never asked to be spared. He is learning that, too. “Then I think that is settled. The next adventure shall be one for us both.”

She manages to make him smile as he does with no other — openly. With her, he can simply . . . be. “Would you come with me next time?”
