I think often about how rapidly the human brain has had to accommodate holding this much sorrow. About how recently we've had the technology to know other people's suffering on a global, daily scale, rather than only holding the sadness and fear of our local communities. It's staggering to consider.

Someday I will make a proper post about what making Laudna means to me personally, and how her particular character struggles and personality have meant a lot to me as I've been navigating chronic illness stuff the past couple years. I don't think I'm articulate enough today, but soon.

I am past exhausted, but PAXU was lovely. Got to meet some longtime mutuals for the first time, chill and play games with some dear friends, and debut Laudna to a truly lovely response from everyone. Very glad that I was able to go this year.
