flying in a metal tube strapped down for a few hours is not so great these days really wish we would have joined the rest of the world and build HSR air is fine for ultra long haul, crossing the pond etc but I would take a longer trip if i could stretch my legs in a tube on tracks with a nice seat

it seems that all the new pedestrian safety upgrades combined with crippling road projects has turned some into “we want more” due to the abhorrent driver behaviour during street closures. if you build it people will ask for more, if you tear up a arterial the ywill demand more

friend went to a bbq over the weekend said a number of garages in the alley were decked out TV, couch, fridge etc we need ADUs so these bonus rooms can be placed on top of garages so these folks can use their garages follow up… is this why some folks get angry about street parking?

85% of my commute is on Greenways or soon to be completed Greenways… so many bad drivers, looks of confusion, fast passes, race to reds paint is not protection we need a concerted effort by politicians, police, block clubs, Chamber of Commerce etc to speak to constituents about Bikes Belonging

I was at the boat show on Navy Pier all weekend, the number of guests from out of town raving about Chicago, Pier packed In fact I have spent a bit of time in the downtown area Crown Fountain, AIC, Millennium Park Loop and it is full of people hate the narrative being pushed about my kinda town
