Raika had indeed grown slightly since the last time the two saw eachother. It had been over seven years by now— She'd merely been 15, a rookie infantry troop, when he left on a mission with Sephiroth, never to return. ⤷

As Raika stared at the figure before her, knuckles were starting to turn white from the grip on the poor door. Her mind raced with an insane number of thoughts, not understanding how Zack Fair happened to be at her doorstep. Surely she isn't hallucinating, right? ⤷

quietly eating some strawberries. Not only is it her favourite snack, but something which brightens her mood.

Sitting on her own, quietly counting the gil she had in her purse. It's not much, but it should be enough for a couple more days if she doesn't waste it.

A knock at her door was the last thing she'd expected. Once in a while she did have a visitor or two — usually her friends she'd made after her sector's downfall checking in on her. Or even a client wanting her to help do some odd jobs. But otherwise? Life was quiet. ⤷

A yawn escapes her lips, exhausted after a long day of trying to locate a certain group and seek out answers. Every time she had leads, she'd feel as if they're one step ahead — even if the group didn't know she was even searching for them.

Raika has worked with Zack, Tseng, Cloud and others in the past during her 'rookie' days. She doesn't remember a majority of them though as it was only one or two encounters. Zack and Tseng are the two she worked with a number of times.

Zack was the inspirational individual she looked up to. Even in her times of uncertainty, his confidence in her and positivity was enough to keep her going. She was determined to become a SOLDIER for him as well to show she could succeed.
