I would beg and plead with anyone longing for the days of old Twitter to read this. Link suppression is a feature, not a bug, of current Internet ecology and we *must* stare this reality in the face and accept it and its implications.

There are multiple individual subreddits on Reddit with twice or triple the number of users on this entire platform.

For those of us who write and publish - we have to remember that our neighbor is often very much not like us, and that our gifts are meant to serve them too. Intentional relationships among like-minded peers is good, but siloing will not help us steward our gifts as well as we must.

We all suffer silent crises, carrying burdens that are incommunicable to those closest to us and occasionally even opaque to ourselves.
