Looking forward to performing some sublime chamber music this Friday as part of the Music in Calary Church piano festival. Alongside Mozart Kegelstatt and Schumann Märchenerzählungen, we’re playing Bruch and the trio by Julius Röntgen - a rare chance to hear this oft overlooked work!

An utter pleasure meeting George Hamilton last night before the @rteco.rte.ie concert. As an avid listener to his @rte.ie Lyric FM radio show, I’m always amazed at his breath of knowledge and enjoyed chatting about all things music, our love of rare composers, and time spent in Germany!

Rewarding and inspiring few days at the Lithuanian Symphonic Wind Orchestra talking and workshopping Performance Psychology. It was fantastic to have such an open dialogue about the big taboos of performance anxiety and stage fright and help musicians to be more confident and comfortable performing!

Perk of the job - hearing the fabulous Julian Bliss rehearse Mozart clarinet concerto ahead of his performance with @rteco.rte.ie tonight!

Thoroughly enjoyed returning to Feuerwerk Einbeck piano academy in Germany last weekend and talking to the students about performance psychology. We discussed stress, adrenaline, and their effects on us and also how to consistently deliver optimum performances regardless of circumstances.

It was such a pleasure performing Mozart with Dublin Orchestral Players last week! What a wonderful group to play with, and I couldn’t resist posting a short clip from the rehearsal - possibly the most introspective passage in the piece, the recapitulation in the melancholy second movement.
